No Simple Highway

This album, “No Simple Highway”, brings together artists Anna Mitchell, John Blek, Kevin Herron,
Marlene Enright and Rowan with producer Brian Casey, videographer Allie Glynn, resident dancer, Kelly Justin and artist Riona O’Regan to reimagine & re-inspire, record, and shine on a light to capture universal challenging
emotions in relation to loss, grief, and enduring love.

To do this, it revisits selected gems from Beth
Gibbons & Paul Webb, Bombay Bicycle Club/Joanna Newsom, Country Joe McDonald, David Ball, Eileen Jewell, Eliza Carthy, Grateful Dead, Greg Trooper, Jimmy LaFave, Roy Wood, and The Milk Carton Kids.

SomeRiseSomeFall believes in the transformative power of music and artistic collaboration to chart
the human condition and Michael Fitzgerald established it to connect artistically and communicate creative insight while highlighting the vulnerability of people. FITZZ Records funds community projects and all proceeds from the project will go towards assisting organisations helping those facing mental health or other challenges. Creativity adds to people's lives but a truly creative, collaborative project with the aim of creating beauty and connecting to people's feelings in a kind open-hearted, compassionate way makes artists better artists and crafts a virtuous circle of beauty out of even the rawest most devastating emotions such as loss & grief.
